The Dentsply Cavitron Plus Gen 131 Ultrasonic Scaling Unit provides dependable ultrasonic performance for removing calculus, plaque, and other deposits during professional dental hygiene procedures.
Operating at 30 kHz, the system uses Dentsply’s Extended SPS technology to help maintain consistent scaling performance throughout its adjustable power range. The clearly marked power dial allows quick adjustment from the low-power Blue Zone through higher scaling settings.
The system includes dedicated Rinse and Boost modes. Rinse mode provides lavage with minimal ultrasonic activity, while Boost mode temporarily increases power when additional scaling strength is needed. A front-panel Purge button helps flush the handpiece waterline between procedures.
The included 30K Steri-Mate handpiece features a removable, autoclavable handpiece design and an integrated rotating water-flow control. The wireless foot control provides convenient hands-free activation and eliminates an additional cord around the operator’s workspace.
